It is said that the rolling hills of Tuscany are sprinkled with vineyards and bathed in golden sunshine. It is with this in mind that the owners of 1844 Seabreeze St. have taken their inspiration. The stone accented front steps and drive give the first indication of this Italian influenced beauty. Once inside you’ll feel the warmth of the golden hardwoods; the bannister; the walls and floor to ceiling drapery. When most Californians think of a Tuscan inspired home, they think of heavy stone and dark wood, but that’s a monastery; this is a home where the whimsy of Carnival reflects Italy’s flames of fall, her colors of the earth; with hues of the rustic hillsides, awash in sunshine. Our kitchen is sienna red and okra green with a golden wash, and dark granite tile. There’s copper accents; drapes with soft tassels, dark shutters and cool floors. The office features grass cloth wallpaper and a maple built in desk with cabinets and bookshelves. Open the window and listen because just outside is a stone trimmed waterfall and koi pond. Up the spiral stairs is the master bedroom with traditional white walls, highlighted by blue and floral accented drapery. The bath has fresco imbued wall paper and sand stone inspired tile counters. The middle bedrooms share a common bath and the bonus room/2nd master suite features solid bamboo floors, a built in dresser and cabinet, shutters, and a private fireplace. The bath cabinets even match the built in dresser. Ideal for entertaining, the rear yard is private and features lush landscaping, artificial grass for water conservation and easy maintenance. The in-ground pebble tech spa is stone trimmed and there’s also a firepit and crushed rock flower beds. The patio cover creates a wonderful environment to relax and enjoy. This is a one of a kind home with over 3,200 square feet, 4 bedrooms, an office and 4 full baths.
